It Looked Like Spilt Milk

We read the story "It looked like spilt milk". We went outside and had a great time observing some puffy clouds to see what they looked like to us. We made our illustrations like the ones in the book!
Our art is outside the classroom door. Come by and check it out!

Green Eggs & Ham

We have been reading and rhyming with Dr. Suess's Green Eggs & Ham Book. Yesterday, the kids were not thrilled about trying green eggs for snack, but they were pleasantly surprised to find it was Sherbert ice cream and Whipped Cream!

Sushi!

We learned about Japan last week and thought it would be a fun idea to make Sushi! The children were very excited about Sushi made out of Twinkies and Fruit Roll-Ups! :)

5 Loaves & 2 Fish

Have you heard the Bible story about Jesus feeding 5,000 people with ONLY 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish?  Well, that is what we learned about this week, and it's one of Mrs. Lindquist's favorite Bible stories! As she read the story, the children got to eat their "bread" (aka tortilla) and "fish" (goldfish). They had a lot of great questions!
